Rett has a BA from Ripon College and an MBA from Indiana University. Rett started The Humke Group, Inc in 1977. He and his wife Jeanne Humke moved to St Charles in 1975 and are very connected to the community. Rett and Jeanne love canoeing, making maple syrup, and just being in the north woods (the UP). They also enjoy taking their camper east to visit their son in Vermont. They have 3 kids and 7 grandkids. Rett has been a long-time member of the St Charles Kiwanis club and they have both been active long-time members of the St Charles Congregational UCC church. Rett mostly-retired in 2020 when Covid started but he still enjoys coming into the office and hearing about how all of our clients are doing.
